  2. Admin access to add bots to your channel/group
  3. Your RobinReach account ready to connect

Step 1: Add @robinreach_bot as Admin

First, you need to add the RobinReach bot to your Telegram channel or group:

  1. Open your Telegram Channel or Group
  2. Go to Settings → Administrators
  3. Click Add Administrator

Important: The bot needs permission to post messages in your channel or group.

Step 2: Get Your Channel or Group ID

To connect your Telegram channel or group to RobinReach, you'll need the ID. Here are three ways to get it:

The easiest way to get your Channel or Group ID is through Telegram Web:

  1. Open web.telegram.org in your browser
  2. Log in to your Telegram account
  3. Navigate to your Channel or Group
  4. Look at the URL in your browser's address bar, it will look like:
https://web.telegram.org/k/#-1001234567890
  1. The number after #     is your Channel or Group ID

Example: In the URL above, your ID is -1001234567890

Note: Make sure to copy the entire number including the minus sign (e.g., -1001234567890    )

Method 2: Use @JsonDumpBot

Alternatively, you can forward a message from your Telegram channel or group, using either the mobile app or Telegram Web, and then send it to @JsonDumpBot. The bot will generate a complete JSON of the forwarded message, showing all the details of the request, like this:

How to use @JsonDumpBot:

  1. Send any message in your Telegram channel or group
  2. Forward that message to @JsonDumpBot
  3. The bot will reply with a JSON dump
  4. Look for the "forward_from_chat"     section
  5. Find the "id"     field, this is your Channel or Group ID

Note:

  • Channel IDs typically start with -100     followed by numbers
  • Group IDs are also negative numbers
  • Make sure to copy the entire number including the minus sign
